After enduring years of physical and mental abuse, Theresa was placed in
foster care at the age of 15. She had 3 different social workers, 4 placements and attended 3 different high schools. After aging out of the system, Theresa supported herself for 2 years and earned her high school diploma instead of entering Job Corps and settling for a GED. Theresa is an avid foodie, cook and baker; has an artistic eye; and loves to "think big"! She looks forward to starting a non-profit to help foster youth aged 14-30 who have aged out of the system. She wants to inspire people to make a difference in this world.
